COACHING ATHLETES ON THE BIKE AND IN THE WATER

ON THE BIKE

As a masters athlete, Jeff brings a world of experience to his athletes.

Jeff currently holds two 65+ age group records: the hour record at the San Diego Velodrome and the fixed gear course record at the World 6-Hour Time Trial Championships.

Working with masters athletes, Jeff offers an integrated approach with multiple goals:
• Stay healthy
• Do not get injured
• Have fun

Staying healthy and injury-free means incorporating nutrition, hydration, and a strength program into any endurance program.

Having fun does not mean we don’t take it seriously. It means that the process has to be both fun and satisfying for anyone to continue.

Jeff offers process-oriented training plans to guide anyone to their goals.

IN THE WATER

Bringing an endurance coaching model to scuba diving training, Jeff is the creator of the UTD Scuba Coaching Program.

Great scuba training – from open water diver to instructor – does not have to be focused on the outcome. It can be about the process.

The UTD Scuba Coaching Program shifts the focus of scuba training from a quick weekend class to a personalized process that guides a diver to their goals.

Scuba coaching clients receive a weekly calendar of “workouts” tailored to individual goals. These “workouts” can be academic chapters, videos, in-water exercises – anything related to the process of reaching a goal in the water.

Jeff is the founder of UTD Scuba Diving, a global scuba training and certification agency. He is an instructor-trainer-trainer, traveling the world training scuba instructors.
