The Hour Record

The iconic hour record. Some say it’s the hardest thing you can do in cycling. And the simplest. How far can you ride you bike in one hour in a velodrome?

Cyclists have been attempting this since 1863. There are domestic and international records established for pros and age-groupers.

In 2025, San Diego masters cyclist Jeff Seckendorf will attempt to break the U.S. hour record in the 70+ age group.

What is his purpose in five years of training, expense, successes, and setbacks? To motivate others to find their purpose.

Jeff is available as a keynote and corporate speaker on goals, training, and living the process regardless of outcome. Contact Jeff for more information.
